The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jacksboro is accepting applications for the full-time position of Pharmacy Technology Instructor.

Minimum of Associates Degree, technical diploma or equivalent higher education training.
Minimum five (3) years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Current Pharmacy Technician certification.
Must commit to remain current in the Pharmacy Technician field.
Previous teaching experience preferred.
The Pharmacy Technology Instructor is responsible for teaching theory and skills to prepare students to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians. The Instructor will monitor, grade, evaluate and advise students on individual progress; maintain records and complete reports in a timely manner; assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; participate in the development of the program; maintain good public relations with business and industry; develop and maintain agreements with clinical partners; maintain an active advisory committee, and other duties as assigned.
Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher.
Must show evidence of good character, mature attitude and stable personality.
Computer skills required.
