About
Electricity plays an essential part in how we live our lives. Having quality trained people for the construction and repair of electrical systems and equipment is extremely important. At TCAT Jacksboro our students are well trained in electrical theory. This lays a solid foundation for a long and successful career as an electrician. They are then instructed in the use and understanding of the National Electric Code book for proper residential, and commercial and industrial installations. The proper use of tools and reading of electrical prints is an important part of their training. Training in motor control trouble shooting and repair along with learning to program Programmable Logic Controllers hones their skills to a fine edge. After 1728 hours of electrical training TCAT Jacksboro students are ready to start, at entry level, a long successful career as a construction or industrial electrician.
