About

The Computer Information Technology (CIT) program encompasses related courses in Information Technology, Computer software and hardware maintenance , Networking management and configuration, and Server and Business  Systems Administration, Cloud technologies and Virtualization.

Graduates will benefit from sustained growth in demand for highly skilled information technology workers. All courses offer a core curriculum that is designed to provide the academic and technical background to prepare students for a career in the information technology field.  The curriculum focuses on the design, implementation, management and troubleshooting of computer systems. Required courses are designed to prepare students to install, configure, upgrade and secure standalone, networked and mobile systems.  The emphasis is on Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix operating systems. The curriculum is designed to enable students to develop strong critical thinking skills and to learn by doing so in  hands-on lab as well virtual lab environment.
