About

The Administrative Office Technology Program is designed to develop the skills necessary for success in today's computerized office by providing technical instruction and skill development needed for a variety of careers in: medical, business, marketing, legal, or accounting administrative assisting. This program provides essential training in: business office procedures, customer service skills, business communications, Microsoft computer skills, and employability skills. Additionally, students can develop specialized skills in medical coding, medical insurance billing, social media marketing, digital publishing, legal office assisting, accounting/bookkeeping, law office management, and creating social media content. Students enjoy an active role in their learning by completing practical experiences with project-based activities and hands-on training, using office technology, completing work-based learning activities as well as developing work ethics, interpersonal skills, and professional skills.

During the final trimester, students choose one of the following areas of specialization:
